just purchased a large winter warm from Vermont castings: the primary air control is not working properly, burns to high, too much wood, no overnight shut down, ashes in morning, have had "South Coast Hearth & Patio" out and said its fixed, also fan not working, can you tell me what might be wrong with the primary air control? thanks

There is really nothing better than a warm and crackling fire to set the mood in the home. We just moved to a house with a fireplace and I love it.

My wife feels exactly the way Angelica feels. When we were looking for our first home she wouldn't even look at one that didn't have a fireplace. She didn't believe we would ever install one.

I don't think I would ever buy a home that didn't have a fireplace. We have one of those double fieplaces thats visable from the living room and the dining room. I'm glad I live in a climate that makes it practical to use a fireplace.

My wife and I just bought a new home that doesn't have a fireplace. We are having one installed right away because we can't imagine a house without one.

Because of the bad economy, everything has sky rocketed in price. Including utility bills. I guess a fireplace will help in lowering my heating bill so I am in the process of looking for one.
